My Bio
David Clifton is a medium size mammal born in Terre Haute Indiana on April 9th of 1976. David studied Fine Arts at Indiana State University attending summer semesters which allowed him to graduate in only three years with his B.F.A. 3D computer graphics was not offered at I.S.U. so David was allowed to create several independent study classes and taught himself 3D and 2D graphics applications and stereoscopic application. After completing undergraduate school David moved to Dallas in search of work and culture. After a year of working for Microsoft he realized his calling was college level instruction as both of his parents had done. David then moved to Savannah to pursue an M.F.A. at Savannah College of Art & Design in 3D computer graphics in order to meet the qualifications to become a college professor and to further his skill. Once David completed his M.F.A. in 2002 he moved back to Indiana to work at finding his first college teaching position. David has since been occupied as a Professor, now teaching at The University of North Georgia, enjoying his students and creating visual art while working on his 3D stereoscopic simulation skills. His other interests include sixteen years of Jeet Kune Do experience, devouring several Science Fiction Novels and science books each month while also studying the coming Singularity.

My artistic philosophy is quite similar to my philosophy on mental existence in general.  My thoughts and opinions may seem significant within the confines of my mind, but they do not actually change the nature of reality at the macro level, the real maintains itself regardless of my mind's application of labels.  If I allow myself to have too many preconceptions concerning my work as an artist I risk altering the outcome in ways that I had not intended.  This is not to imply that I don't understand the importance of concept work, planning is essential, but I must be somewhat cautious in order to avoid unnecessary interruptions in the flo
